Yukibana comes in a strong Water Claw card that does a 3x Water-elemental Claw attack. But she comes with two gimmicks; the first is a 80% Chance to apply a 1-tick Evasion Shield. This new Shield effect (見切り; Abandonment) was introduced with both Yukibana and Okuni, and effectively allows the Shielded target to completely evade an enemy's attack and its effects. It can pretty useful against foes who only have 1-2 attacks per turn. However, the Shield itself isn't without flaws. It won't protect against Recoil damage nor will it prevent attacks that are guaranteed to hit. Also, since it's only 1-tick, it will only prevent damage from the enemy's first attack; any subsequent attacks after that will still hit you.
Yukibana's second gimmick is that if the enemy has a Shield, then her attacks are guaranteed to hit. However, this is a bit of a goofy gimmick as Yukibana's attacks can't penetrate Shields and she doesn't really have Accuracy issues like Seere or Rico. The idea then is that she's basically a counter card to the same Evasion Shield she utilizes. All said, Yukibana is a powerful Water Claw card that can deal lots of damage if played right.
