Dungeon Summary

This is a challenge dungeon, which has the following restrictions:

  • Each entry costs 1/6th of your Max STP
  • SP Boost is not allowed
  • There is only one round instead of the normal three so be prepared to face off against the boss immediately!
  • Because there is only one round, when hosting this dungeon the game will wait 30 seconds before starting in order to allow players to join

Strategy

Wood.png Kazuma Kiryu is weak to Fire.png, Hit.png, and Confusion

  • For 4★-12★, there's very little strategy required as Kiryu goes down relatively easy enough.
  • For his Preemptive Attack, Kiryu will apply a Strong Counter + Iron Wall Shield (Overwrite Disabled is added on God/DK) and greatly Buff himself.
  • Kiryu will primarily attack the Party and often inflict Debuffs.
    • Some of his attacks will often inflict Blindness! This can be prevented with Status Reflect or Immunity.
    • He can often inflict Damage UP to the Party as well, so make sure you can Cards that can overwrite it.
  • Inflicting Confusion can weaken Kiryu's attacks.
    • However, he will Counter if you do it 2+ Turns in a row. (This only really pops up on God/DK)
  • Kiryu will also frequently Buff himself quite a bit. (On higher difficulties, he Buffs a LOT.)
    • Try to stay Buffed up to deal damage or get rid of his Buffs whichever way you can.
  • Every few Turns, Kiryu will apply an Enhance Absorb Shield (Overwrite Disabled) and Charge up (Extreme Charge Lv1) for a Release attack!!!
    • Simply inflict Confusion to prevent the Release attack.
    • The Lv1 Release attack deals high damage and can break Shields.
    • Kiryu can also Charge this to Lv2; This one is much deadlier as it will INSTANTLY KILL if it goes off.
    • Once Kiryu falls below 50% HP, he can go into a Lv2 Charge immediately! Be careful!
  • Counters
    • Confuse Counter: If you Confuse Kiryu 2+ Turns in a row, Kiryu will deal high damage, break your Shields, inflict -10 to all Stats, and possibly inflict Blindness!
    • Flush Counter: If you make a Flush, Kiryu will Counterattack by doing an attack that breaks Shields and inflicts -5 to all Stats.

Rewards

This dungeon can drop ALL Awakening Materials used in Awakening System as well as Orbs. Also, high rank Marrones, Rings, and Fairies may drop.
Orbs and Awakening Materials will only drop from Demon difficulty (24★) onwards.

You can also obtain Special Orbs unique to this Challenge Dungeon!
Demon Difficulty will only drop up to Lv1 Orbs, and Dragon will only drop up to Lv2 Orbs. You can get up to Lv3 Orbs from God or higher.
The Lv1 Orbs have a fairly high chance to drop when clearing the Dungeon. The Lv2-3 Orbs are considerably rarer drops though.
