Long a mainstay in the game, Walrus has been around quite a while. Walrus' Skill isn't particularly anything special. At first, it's just a simple 1x Stab attack. Then at SL6+, he gets the ability to also self-Buff when he attacks, granting +1 DEF as well as +1 ATK (if your DEF is above 0). Awakening gives Walrus a much-needed Stat boost and changes his Skill into a 2x Stab attack with a built-in +1 ATK/DEF Buff.
As mentioned earlier, Walrus' Skill isn't anything special, but Awakening turns him into a pretty good Blue Stab card. His Stats are way above average for a 30-Cost (about on par with a 32-Cost card). Add in his 4 Orb Slots, and you can slot him with an ATK Orb, giving him well over 1800 Attack.
A great Sub for any Stab card. Walrus offers a whopping 35% Skill Boost to Stab-type Skills on a Straight+.
As such, he makes an excellent sub for any Stab card you have.
Awakening further improves this by offering a 10% chance on a Full House+ hand to grant a 40% Skill Boost instead.
However, the chance is so low, it may as well be almost non-existent.
Quite the useful Awakening Skill, Walrus allows any Stab card in the played hand other than your own to get an extra 15% Skill Boost! This can be very useful against foes that are weak against Stab attacks, as it allows your allies to deal more damage with their Stab cards.
