Dungeon Summary

This is a challenge dungeon, which has the following restrictions:

  • Each entry costs 1/6th of your max stamina
  • Half SP boost is not allowed
  • There is only one round instead of the normal three so be prepared to face off against the boss immediately!
  • Because there is only one round, when hosting this dungeon the game will wait 30 seconds before starting in order to allow players to join

Strategy

The bosses rotate depending on the element of the day.

Fire.png Hellhound is weak to Water.png, Stab.png

  • Hellhound's Preemptive Attack will attack and Debuff the Party.
  • Hellhound inflicts Debuffs with the majority of its attacks. As such, cards that can wipe or reverse Debuffs are crucial to have.
  • If you Debuff Hellhound too much, he'll attack and transfer his Debuffs to the Party!
  • Every so often, Hellhound will wipe the Party's Buffs.
  • Shields are of limited usefulness; many of Hellhound's attacks will also break Shields. He'll often do additional attacks on Shielded allies that may break Shields and inflict Debuffs.
  • He also has an attack that can inflict Strong Poison; make sure to clear it quickly.
  • Thankfully, Hellhound doesn't really Buff himself. If you can manage to Debuff him just a little bit, it can make the fight easier to deal with.

Water.png Walrus is weak to Wood.png, Hit.png

  • Walrus opens with a strong Preemptive Attack and Buffs all his Stats.
  • Walrus has a 1-2 combo where he'll first do a moderate AoE attack and then attempt to Blind or Paralyze the Party.
    • His followup attack will then deal heavy damage to anyone who is still Blinded/Paralyzed and moderate damage to everyone else.
    • If you can clear the Status Effects on your Party before his followup attack, then Walrus will completely miss his attack!
  • Some of his attacks will also inflict Debuffs. Status Reflect/Immunity can be useful for preventing them from hitting.
  • Walrus can also occasionally break Shields as well as wipe your Buffs. (The Buff Wipe occurs if the Party has a Stat Total of +50 or higher.)
  • Cards that can help resist or clear Status Ailments are highly recommended for this fight!

Wood.png Gorilla is weak to Fire.png, Bite.png and Confusion

  • Gorilla opens with a strong Preemptive Attack and Buffs all his Stats.
  • Gorilla's main gimmick is that he Charges up every turn while Buffing all of his Stats. For every Charge Lv Gorilla gains, the more he Buffs himself. Once his Charge reaches LvMax after 3 Turns, he'll unleash a powerful Release attack.
    • However, if you manage to Confuse him, you'll force Gorilla to dump his Charges, attack the Party, and make him attack himself, and then start all over again.
  • Very few of Gorilla's attacks can break Shields. However, Shields can be very effective for reducing damage from his attacks (and Strong Counter Shields in particular can be very useful).
  • Debuffs or cards that wipe/steal Buffs are recommended as Gorilla will very quickly Buff himself if you don't dispel his Charge.
  • Fortunately, Gorilla doesn't Debuff the Party, so your Buffs should be relatively safe.
  • Some suggested cards with Confuse are Kisshouten, Leopard, Jeanne, and Colt.

Rewards

This dungeon can drop materials used in Awakening System and Orb System. Also, high rank Marrons and Fairys may drop.
Additionally, special Limited Orbs may drop that are specific to this Challenge Dungeon.
