Strategy

Waves 1 & 2

  • Simply defeat one of the two foes that appear to have the other flee.

Boss Fight

  • Masurao & Shion's Preemptive attack will attack the Party and break their Shields, possibly inflicting Debuffs and Paralysis.
    • This can be avoided with Evasion Shields.
    • If someone does get Paralyzed, try to clear it quickly as Masurao & Shion will follow up with a nasty Gravity attack on the following Turn if an ally is Paralyzed.
  • The Bosses will mostly attack with Debuffs, though there are a few other attacks they can pull out.
    • If the Party's Stat Total is +50 or higher, Masurao & Shion will wipe the Party's Buffs.
    • If you inflict Damage UP, Masurao & Shion will counterattack and deal high damage to the Party while also self-applying an Evasion Shield!
      • This can also trigger a few other ways like if you get their HP below 50%, don't inflict Sleep, Stat Total is +49 or less...that said, you generally won't see it much.
  • If any of Masurao & Shion's Stats are in the Negatives, they'll Reverse their Debuffs. So avoid using Debuffs!
    • Likewise, avoid using Status Reflect. The Reflected Debuffs will just cause the Bosses to Reverse their Stats at the start of their next Turn.
  • Eventually Masurao & Shion will Charge up for a Release attack by Buffing themselves +10 to all Stats and gaining an Aura.
    • The Release attack has 2 Levels. The Lv1 attack will break Shields and deal high damage, and then Masurao & Shion will inflict random Status Effects. This can be avoided with Evasion Shields.
    • The Lv2 attack only appears if Masurao & Shion are below 50% HP; This breaks all Shields and inflicts - 5 to all Stats. It can not be avoided.
    • Simply inflict Sleep or Deep Sleep to prevent the Release attack.

Event Cards

Special Sub Cards

When you clear the Dungeon, one of two Sub Cards may drop from the Dungeon Chest.
You'll need 12 copies each to evolve one fully to from SS to SSS.

Card Sub Skill Description
Fire.pngSSS.png Ninja Weapons When Main Card has Stab Skill, grants (20/25/30)-40% Skill Boost
When Main Card is a Ninja and has Stab Skill or is a Ninja and the target is a Ninja, increases the Minimum Skill Boost by +5%
Water.pngSSS.png O-Samurai Heads When Main Card is a Ninja, grants (10/15/20)-30% Skill Boost and +1 AGI
SSS Only: For every Ninja card in the played hand other than your own, increases the Minimum Skill Boost by +2%
  • The Ninja Weapons are a pretty good Sub for any Stab or Ninja card. If the Main Card is a Ninja w/a Stab Skill OR is a Ninja (w/any Skill) and the target is a Ninja, then you get a extra boost. That said, the 2nd condition won't come into play much at all.
  • The O-Samurai Heads are a decent Sub for any Ninja Support cards. That said...the number of cards you can actually use this with is quite small; Even then, triggering the extra bonus is just as hard.
