Dungeon Summary

Parallel Dimensions collide as Loki seeks to bring about Ragnarok!

The Boss Wood.png Never-ending Yggdrasil is weak to Fire.png Stab.png Slash.png and Taunt.
God & Hero-type Cards also deal 20% additional Damage.

Strategy

Waves 1 & 2

  • Various Event Cards will appear in pairs on the first two Waves.
  • You can often get away with just defeating just one of them and the other will Buff/Heal you and run off.
    • If Eternal Ragnarok appears, it MUST be defeated. If left alone, it will not run away.

Boss Fight

  • Like the previous run of this Event, this is a Story Boss so it'll constantly change Forms throughout the fight.
  • The Boss' Preemptive Attack will attack the Party and inflict a Sustained Debuff effect. (Preemptive Iron Wall is effective.)
  • For the most part, the Boss will mostly attack the Party and Buff itself.
    • It can Buff itself quite quickly on higher difficulties, as it'll apply a Sustained Buff effect.
    • Depending on the Form present, the Boss can toss out some different attacks that can inflict Seal, Blindness, or Damage UP.
    • The Boss will also occasionally apply a Sustained Debuff effect to the Party after its attacks. (However, it does stop doing this at some point. It's not every Turn.)
  • It'll also occasionally throw up a Shield (usually Iron Wall).
    • As such, Shield Breakers/Anti-Shield cards are useful.
  • Eventually, the Boss will Charge up for a Release attack by Buffing themselves +10 to all Stats and applying a Sustained Buff effect.
    • The Release attack itself cannot be cancelled. It will hit the Party for high damage, though it is relatively survivable if you're fully Buffed/Healed.
    • The best way to deal with this is to wipe the Boss' Buffs and inflict Taunt; this will weaken the attack's effects.
  • Despite the Boss being weak to Taunt, it actually doesn't do a lot in this fight apart from just resetting his Stats. Thus, Taunt cards aren't really required but can be useful.
  • Effective Shields:
    • Status Reflect or Immunity work pretty well to help keep the Sustained Debuff effect at bay.
    • That said, the Boss will sometimes break Shields, so be aware.

Super Dragon Emperor

  • Surprisingly, there's not many changes for this fight.
  • The Preemptive Attack now breaks Shields and inflicts -5 to all Stats. It also deal significantly more damage than before.
  • The Debuffs do get significantly more intense, coupled with the Bosses breaking Shields more often.
    • Make sure to bring Cards that can wipe or reverse Debuffs!
  • Beyond that, it's mostly the same fight, but harder.
  • Compared to other SDE fights, this isn't terribly difficult if you can clear TDK.

Old TDK/SDE (Ragnarok - Endgame)

  • These are reruns of the previous run of this Event.
  • Check here for more info.
  • For the most part, you can use your same Deck for these fights (except SDE which requires more Damage UP).

Old TDK/SDE (Steel Dragon of Nibelung)

  • These are reruns of the previous fights from Steel Dragon of Nibelung.
  • Check here for more info.
  • Keep in mind you'll need an entirely different Deck for these fights.

Recommended Cards

  • Red Slash: S.Awk Susanno, White Pawn, Zero (Black), Frey & Freya
  • Red Stab: Hel (Underworld), Meiling, Renge
  • Shield Breaker/Anti-Shield: Sieg & Sigurd (The End), Eternal Warrior, Rico
  • Status Reflect (Non-Sustain)
  • Hero Cards (if applicable)

Event Cards

Point Cards

Reward Points Needed
Fire.pngSS+.png Surtr 50,000
Water.pngSS+.png Fafnir (Attendant) 50,000

Special Sub Cards

When you clear the Dungeon, one of two Sub Cards may drop from the Dungeon Chest.
You'll need 12 copies each to evolve one fully to from SS to SSS.

Card Sub Skill Description
Fire.pngSSS.png Swords of Victory When Main Card is a Hero and has Slash Skill, grants (30% / 30-35% / 30-40%) Skill Boost and (10/15/20%) chance to inflict Taunt
(SSS Only: If target is a Hero, increases the Minimum Skill Boost by +5%)
Wood.pngSSS.png Eternal Spear When Main Card is Green, grants (20/25/33%) Chance to activate Main Card's Skill (1x/2x/3x)
SS+/SSS: Grants +1 ATK/DEF
  • The Swords of Victory are a pretty neat Sub for any Hero Cards with Slash Skills (which there are a few) with a good Skill Boost and small chance to inflict Taunt.
  • The Eternal Spear can activate a Green Card's Skill multiple times as well as grant +1 ATK/DEF. However, it is unreliable by itself. (Use similar Subs along with it.)

Accumulated Point Rewards

Unlike most other Special Events, the Points you accumulated are split into two.
The first is an accumulated point total that keep tracks of all the Points you've gained total, while the other you can use to spend on fodder.

Once you've reached the appropriate Point Total, you can obtain the reward associated with it.
