Medal Shop
The Medal Shop is where you can exchange Dragon Medals and Black Medals in exchange for fabulous prizes, including various cards, SP Skills, and other things of interest.
Contents
Currency
The Medal Shop uses two types of currency: Dragon Medals and Black Medals.
- Dragon Medals: Primarily obtained through participating in Colosseum, Special Events, and Treasure Rewards. Can also be rarely obtained through Training, Challenge Dungeons, and other rewards. This is the main currency of the Medal Shop, as almost everything requires Dragon Medals.
- Black Medals: Primarily obtained through Treasure Rewards and Special Events. Can also be rarely obtained through Training, Challenge Dungeons, and other rewards. Black Medals are relatively harder to come by than Dragon Medals. They're used for purchasing special Sub Cards or Overlord's Rings.
Purchasable Items
Limited
The Limited tab is full of Special Cards that were previously mostly Limited to certain Special Events.
In more recent times, it contains older Event Cards and special Sub Cards available to purchase.
- All Limited Cards can only be obtained once unless noted otherwise. If you have them already in your possession from a previous event, they will be Sold Out.
- On the off-chance you accidentally Sell a Card or somehow lose it, it may be possible to re-buy it. HOWEVER, keep in mind this does NOT work with every Card listed, so be careful!

Recommended Purchases
The following is a list of purchases you should try to prioritize at some point or another.
- GOD Rings/Overlord's Ring: Buy these as you need to so that you can evolve your Cards to GOD/DRA. The Medal Shop is the only consistent way to get these Rings outside of RNG drops with Training. Make sure you always have enough Dragon Medals to exchange for these!
- Deck Cost +10: These add much needed extra Deck Cost to your Deck. They're pretty cheap for the most part.
- Skill Guarantee W-Link: This SP Skill will make your life much easier once you start moving up towards the higher difficulties, allowing you to Link two cards at once. It's somewhat expensive, but it's worth it in the long run.
- Yata no Kagami: A incredibly useful Sub Card once you start moving up towards the higher difficulties. Being able to have useful Support cards activate their effects twice comes in handy and it blocks linking with Enhance cards if it activates.
- Shuffle 2/3+: These are very useful for Colosseum and they're pretty cheap to boot. The reduced SP Cost in Colosseum helps out a lot.
- Hand Drop 1: This randomly drops a card from your played hand, but grants your played card a 10% Damage Boost and automatically activates Skill Guarantee on it. It's also quite cheap SP-wise. Hand Drop 2 & 3 are more riskier prospects and are a little more expensive to purchase.
- SP Slot +1: Gives you an extra SP Slot to use your SP Skills. Quite useful to have, though it's a little expensive. You can save this purchase until a bit later and the 2nd one until you have a surplus of Dragon Medals.
- Carbuncle: Grants +5 SP to made hands in Dungeons when subbed on A. What makes Carbuncle really useful is when running CBG or similar dungeons where you're attempting to capture cards. Since he gives you more SP for hands made, it's easier to keep your SP up (especially during extended sessions).
- Rank EXP Boosters (Pom Ringmaster and the Spirit Girls): These cards help you earn more EXP from Dungeons. Individually, they're not much, but together, they can help bring in more Rank-EXP. Very helpful when farming high-level Normal Dungeons or the Super EXP Dungeon for Rank-EXP. The Spirit Girls are more recent additions that also grant Damage Reduction if subbed on the right card.
- Batista: Prior to Awakening, he's pretty meh. However, Awakening turns him into a highly useful Damage Reduction + Status Avoidance Sub. Very great vs foes who love to spam Status Effects. Also currently has the highest applicable Status Avoidance in the game if you can stay above 80% HP.
- Gehenna: By himself, Gehenna isn't much. But when you Sub him with his Brutal Scythe (obtainable from the Duel Medal Shop), he can deal pure Gravity damage with his attacks! This makes Gehenna a key Card for the Tower Dungeon, where the Bosses have Millions of HP.
