Mammon's skill comes with a neat gimmick, where every target you hit has a chance to have ATK/DEF "stolen" from them (you will inflict -1/-1 and gain +1/+1 in turn), which means you can gain up to +3 ATK/DEF on a single turn with him. Fortunately, Awakening does well to improve Mammon by giving him a very nice Stat Boost and increasing the capabilities of his Main Skill. As before, Mammon does a 3x Stab attack with a 50% chance to Steal +1 ATK/DEF from any target he hits. But now his Skill Power increases as you have more Buffs and once you hit +15 Stat Total, Mammon's attack become Fire-imbued! As such, Mammon can become quite strong under the right conditions. With his 3 Orb Slots, Mammon's Attack can be increased to well over 1927+, making him much stronger than before.
A 20% skill efficacy boost is significant, but due to the lasting nature of buffs and debuffs, chances are you wont be willing to use it on most things. Though like many cards, he ends up being one of his own better subs, in this case because his main skill can negate the penalty of his subskill. Funny enough, Mammon is actually a pretty good Sub for catching cards from CBG and the like, as his ATK Debuff does spread on AoE Support cards. This can be good for weakening your Party's ATK to capture weaker cards and to prolong the fight until they are captured (or die). ===Awakened=== Awakening improves on Mammon's Sub by increasing the Skill Boost to 25-30%. However, the ATK Debuff does get nerfed a bit, with it now reduced to 33%. <br> That said, Mammon does make for a better Sub on Support cards now, but be mindful that the ATK Debuff still spreads on AoE Skills.
