Branch A makes Mahiru basically the Wood version of Leviathan and Marchosias. Her strength lies in removing enemy buffs; a highly valued tool for many situations. It's especially useful against Special Event Bosses who love to Buff themselves greatly. But much like her predecessors, the buff removal only has a 50% chance to activate per target, leaving it up to chance whether or not it occurs.
Mahiru's Sub is mostly the same no matter what branch you choose. She offers a powerful 35% Skill Boost to any Attack card on a Straight+, making her a useful sub for any Attack card. The branches differ in the secondary effect, with this particular one applying an Iron Wall Shield with only a 20% chance to apply it.
