Overview

While Lumiere doesn't heal for as much as Dryad, she makes up for that with a single turn shield after the heal, but with a chance to miss the healthier her targets are. This shield only lasts till the beginning of the player's next turn, so it'll only protect for one round before dissipating, even if the enemies don't end up attacking that turn. Still, no questions asked AoE that can spread buff sub cards is amazing, with the shield adding additional turn-around potential but do be careful about taking her into ring capture runs, her fusion adds a counterattack along with +2atk/+2agi.

Lumi is an incredibly useful Heal card, as she not only heals the Party's HP, but also has a chance to apply a very handy Damage Reduction Shield. The Shield has a greater chance to apply the lower your HP is, so it can be a lifesaver if you or anyone else is near-death, as the Shield has significant reduction at SL7 (70%). Unsurprisingly, Lumi's great for using in higher-difficulty content where the Shield will help greatly.

  • Chance to apply Damage Reduction Shield somewhat proportional to targets' remaining HP; the lower their HP, the higher the probability that it is applied. (At exactly 50% HP, this is a 80% Chance)
  • Damage Reduction Shield only lasts for the duration of the Turn.

Awakening doesn't change Lumi's Skill very much; she does get some nice improvements such as a minor boost to her Heal and a general increase in her Shield Chance. In addition, once somebody falls below 50% HP, Lumi's Shield has a 100% chance to apply. As such, she remains a great lifesaver...assuming your enemies can't break her Shield.

Sub Skill

Recoil damage: ~20%
Seems to spread recoil damage to the party on AoE support main skills like Monica on Straight+ or Dryad .

Awakened

Awakening greatly improves on Lumi's Sub in getting rid of the Recoil damage and replacing it with a 10% HP Heal instead.
As such, she can be put to good use on any number of cards (particularly with AoE Effects).

Awakening Skill

Lumi has a fairly useful Awakening Skill. Whenever you play her in a hand and you take damage during the turn, for every hit you take, you have a 50% chance of healing 3% HP to the Party. This can be particularly useful against multi-hitting enemies. While the heal itself may not be terribly strong, it's still quite useful for recovering damage incurred.
