Overview
A possibly mad alchemist and very interesting Elemental attacker.
Latio is essentially an Elemental attacker without the major weakness that comes with most of them; being ineffective against off-color targets.
Her Main Skill has the unique ability to hit the enemy's elemental weakness no matter the color. As such, she's amazingly useful against pretty much every enemy and her usefulness increases further with her Damage UP effect, which allows your teammates to inflict even more damage to affected enemies.

- Damage UP effect causes targets to take 1.5x additional damage.
Latio's Main Skill is interesting in that it'll adjust to hit the primary elemental weakness of its target.
For example, if the target is a Fire-type, Latio's attack will be Water-elemental. (And vice-versa.)
This makes her surprisingly effective against any enemy, especially with the Damage UP effect that allows additional damage to be done to the enemy.
If Latio happens to inflict her effect early in the turn, it can allow your allies to deal tremendous damage!
Of course, there are some interesting quirks to note with the Damage UP effect. First off, the effect itself lasts an entire turn (the sole exception to this is if Latio is the last card to activate in the hand, in which case it'll carry over into the next turn if the enemy doesn't overwrite it). Something else to note is that it can overwrite Shields, as it is a sort of Shield effect. This can be particularly useful if facing foes whose Shields cannot be broken at all (like Cthugha for example).
Sub Skill
A bit of a quirky Sub Skill, it'll heal for 8% HP on Skill Activation.
If the target's total stat buffs are -5 or less, it'll buff all Stats by 1.
Useful if getting nailed by debuffs, but Latio's much better used as a Main Card.
