Kotone is yet another Blue Buff card that's not too dissimilar to Wheel of Fortune in both Sub and Main Skills. While Kotone can increase the Party's ATK/AGI, it gets a nice boost if you manage to have a Red, Blue, and Green card in the hand other than your own. She then self-applies a Sustained Buff effect that grants +1 DEF to yourself as well as any ally that has negative DEF at the end of the Turn for 3 Turns. That said...Kotone kinda comes off as a weak Blue Buff card, especially given her competition in Spica and Judgement. The Sustained Buff effect feels quite weak and conditions for the Buff Strength increase are unreliable. Granted, Kotone is still good, it's just that better options already exist.
Pretty similar to Loki and Yata no Kagami but just for Buff Cards. Essentially, it activates the Skill 2x at 80% of its usual power.
But like Loki, it only has a 33% chance to activate. As mentioned, if you're inflicted with a Status Effect, should this sub activate, it'll activate the Skill 3x instead.
As with similar subs, you're better off stacking them to increase your chances of their Sub activating.
