|History||6/22/2015 - 7/09/2015 |
6/6/2016 - 6/20/2016
First two waves consist of Flame Essences and Fodder; these may be automatically cardified at a set rate.
The main boss, Aphoom-Zhah is weak to , and Paralysis.
On 12* (60 STA) and above, Fthaggua may show up after Aphoom-Zhah is defeated. He's weak to ,,.
Defeating him will result in more event PP gained and a chance at dropping his card.
Additionally, Cthugha also has a chance to appear on higher difficulties (may replace Aphoom-Zhah).
She's weak to , and Paralysis. Defeating Cthugha will also give you more event PP.
For Aphoom, it's imperative to avoid a prolonged battle. She'll constantly buff herself and inflict painful debuffs on your party.
She can also inflict Taunt and Confusion and even steal your buffs!
Her main gimmick is that she rotates between absorbing elements (/). Attacking with a card of that type will heal Aphoom if it hits her.
However, if you can manage to inflict Paralysis on her, it'll disable her Elemental Absorption.
For Fthaggua, he'll show up immediately after Aphoom is defeated (if he shows up at all). He's not quite as bulky and has considerably less HP.
However, he's quite dangerous and hits much harder than Aphoom, making it important to defeat him quickly. He has devastating attacks, some of which penetrate and break Shields, as well as inflicting Zombify, Seal, and debuffs.
Cthugha is much like Aphoom but with some nastier stuff, like absorbing and cards and more powerful attacks that may cause Zombify or Taunt.
Unlike Aphoom, her Absorption Shield cannot be broken or bypassed, so Paralysis is the only way to disable it. Cthugha will constantly buff and will sometimes steal buffs from all allies. If she reaches +5 in all stats, she will start unleashing a powerful attack every turn until you can manage to debuff her. This attack can be mitigated with shields and is most likely a team wipe if not shielded on higher difficulties so be sure to keep her buffs under control.
She also has a very nasty preemptive attack that breaks Shields on the higher difficulties, so be careful!
