Dungeon Summary

Black Riding Hood returns with his Strange Monsters!

The Bosses Fire.png Frankumastein, Frankuma Cub, Black Riding Hood and White Riding Hood are weak to Water.png Bite.png and Blind.

Black Riding Hood or White Riding Hood has a chance to replace Frankumastein or Frankuma Cub as the Boss on Demon Difficulty or higher.
Defeat them for 1.5x extra Points and a higher chance for Special Sub Cards to drop!

Strategy

Wave 1 & 2

  • The following enemies will appear on the first two Waves:
  • Hansel & Gretel and Demon Hunter Red Riding Hood appear on the 1st Wave.
  • Blood-Sucking Rabbit and Werefox appear on the 2nd Wave.

Bosses

Frankumastein or Frankuma Cub

  • Frankumastein's Preemptive Attack will first Debuff the Party and then attack, breaking your Shields.
    • You can put on Status Reflect Shields and bounce back the Debuffs. However, be aware that the following Turn, he'll Reverse his Debuffs and likely go into a Charge state soon after.
  • Frankumastein can inflict random Status Effects and Damage UP! Be careful.
  • If you Debuff Frankumastein too much, he'll wipe his Buffs. (On higher difficulties, he'll Reverse them instead!)
  • If you Blind Frankumastein, he won't attack, but he'll clear his Status by increasing his ATK and lowering his DEF/AGI.
    • He'll then apply a Status Immunity or Status Reflect Shield; These can and should be broken. Fortunately, this has few ticks.
  • Eventually, Frankumastein will Buff himself +10 to all Stats and begin Charging (Red Aura).
    • This is triggered by the Boss reaching a high Stat Total; Keep his Stats near 0 to hold it off.
    • This has 2 Levels and the Release Attack gets stronger with each Charge.
    • If you Blind Frankumastein, he'll wipe his Buffs and not attack that turn.
    • Otherwise, he'll unleash a strong Release attack every turn that deals heavy damage.
    • The 1st Release attack will do heavy damage; afterwards, he'll wipe the Party's Buffs and self-apply Iron Wall.
    • After the 2nd Release attack, Frankumastein will wipe his Charges and Buffs.
  • Avoid applying Damage UP effects or Frankumastein will counterattack with multiple attacks!
    • On higher difficulties, this can be potentially fatal. Avoid at ALL costs.
  • If Frankuma Cub appears, it's mostly the same Strategy with very minor differences such as not inflicting Confusion.

Black Riding Hood or White Riding Hood

  • Black Riding Hood's Preemptive Attack will first Buff the Party and himself and then attack, breaking your Shields.
    • His Preemptive Attack deals increased damage if you have a Shield on.
  • Unlike Frankumastein, Black Riding Hood is far more annoying to deal with.
  • Most of his attacks can Debuff and he'll occasionally inflict Confusion or Charm.
  • Black Riding Hood will also occasionally apply an Iron Wall Shield. Shield Breakers are very useful here.
    • His Iron Wall appears to have multiple ticks (usually 5); Multiply Enhance cards are recommended if you can't Shield Break.
  • Inflicting Blindness will cause Black Riding Hood to Debuff himself. He'll also typically put up Iron Wall as well.
    • There doesn't appear to be a counter for constantly applying Blindness.
  • He can also Absorb the Party's Buffs!
    • Most turns, he'll Buff himself and the Party...getting ready to Steal all those Buffs away.
    • Once the Party's Stat Total becomes 60+, Black Riding Hood will then Steal all the Party's Buffs and transition into his Charge phase.
  • In his Charge phase, Black Riding Hood will Buff himself +10 to all Stats (and greatly Debuff the Party -10 to all Stats; this can ignore Shields!) and begin Charging (Red Aura).
    • This has 2 Levels and the Release Attack gets stronger with each Charge.
    • If you Blind Black Riding Hood, he'll wipe his and the Party's Stats and not attack that turn.
    • Otherwise, he'll unleash a strong Release attack every turn that deals heavy damage.
    • After the 2nd Release attack, Black Riding Hood will wipe his Charges and Buffs.
  • Like with Frankumastein, avoid applying Damage UP effects or BRH will counterattack!
  • If White Riding Hood appears, it's mostly the same Strategy with very minor differences.

True Dragon King

  • Black Riding Hood or White Riding Hood will appear as the Boss.
  • As before, do NOT have any Shield on going into the Boss Fight; otherwise, the Boss will hit you for at least 70k+ Damage!
  • The general Strategy from before remains viable; just make sure you have plenty of Blind Cards.
    • If you get White Riding Hood, then it's a much easier fight as she has no Blind Counter.
    • However, BRH DOES have a Blind Counter if you Blind him two Turns in a row, so be careful with him.

Super Dragon Emperor

Probably one of the harder SDE Dungeons yet; read carefully and construct an appropriate Deck accordingly.

  • Hansel & Gretel and Demon Hunter Red Riding Hood appear on the 1st Wave. You need only to defeat one of them.
  • Frankumastein and Frankuma Cub appear on the 2nd Wave.
    • This is a super hard version of their previous fights; made only worse by having to deal with both at the same time!
    • Try to take out one of them ASAP for a much easier time. Otherwise, you may get overwhelmed.
    • Do NOT bring any Cards that inflict Damage UP; inflicting it on any enemy from this point is assuredly INSTANT DEATH!
  • Black Riding Hood and White Riding Hood appear as the Bosses.
    • Having any Shield on during the Preemptive Attack will INSTANTLY KILL you. Avoid using Shields before the Boss at all costs!
      • This can not be Evaded or Mitigated any other way. You'll have to take the Preemptive Attack without Shields.
    • The same general Strategy for the Bosses is still mostly relevant, but now you have to deal with Both at the same time.
    • Both Bosses also have Blind Counters now: BRH's is still the same as before, but WRH will Counter if you Blind her when she's not Charging up.
    • WRH will likely Charge up immediately on the 1st Turn, so make sure to Blind her quickly.
    • Due to all the damage flying around in this fight, you'll want powerful Damage Reduction Cards to soak up the damage. Notably Awk.Lumiere & Empress.
    • Shield Breakers will still be quite useful as well.

Recommended Cards

  • Blue Bite: Hansel & Gretel, Chrome, Hanako (Toilet God), Red Riding Hood (DH), Moon etc.
  • Blind Cards: Argonaut, Chloe, Hansel & Gretel, Vanir, White Riding Hood, etc.
  • Shield Breakers: Casca, Izanami, Ame no Uzume, Fenrir, etc.
  • Status Reflect: Hibiscus, Star, Cat Sith (New Years), etc.
  • Buff Reversal: Queen Lady, Vermouth (Agent)
  • Enhance: Reika, Amaterasu (Sunbathing), and/or Subaru are preferred; Multiply if you don't have those.

Event Cards

Point Cards

Reward Points Needed
Fire.pngSS+.png Frankumastein 50,000
Wood.pngSS+.png Werefox 50,000
Wood.pngSS+.png Blood-Sucking Rabbit 50,000
Water.pngSS+.png Frankuma Cub 50,000

Special Sub Cards

When you clear the Dungeon, one of two Sub Cards may drop from the Dungeon Chest.
You'll need 15 copies each to evolve one fully to from SS to GOD.

Card Sub Skill Description
Fire.pngGOD.png Red Riding Hood's Hood When Main Card has Bite Skill, grants (20-30/25-35/30-40/30-40%) Skill Boost on Straight+
When subbed alongside Black Riding Hood's Hood, increases Skill Boost to (30-40/40-50/50-60/55-60%) and (33/50/100/100%) chance to clear Status Effects
GOD Only: Straight+ requirement removed.
Fire.pngGOD.png Black Riding Hood's Hood When Main Card has Debuff Skill, grants (10/15/20/25)-30% Skill Boost
When subbed alongside Red Riding Hood's Hood, increases Skill Boost to (20-30/30-40/40-50/45-50%) grants (1/2/3/3%) Status Avoidance
  • Red Riding Hood's Hood is a decent Bite Sub. If you have two of them and Black Riding Hood's Hood Subbed, it's slightly better than 3x 35% Subs. The GOD version removes the Straight+ requirement which is nice.
  • Black Riding Hood's Hood is a pretty good Sub for Debuff Cards. If you have two of them and Red Riding Hood's Hood Subbed, it's better than 3x 25% Subs. (Even better than 3x 30% if you get the maximum roll.)
  • That said, the Subs themselves have some rather goofy synergy, since using them together cancels out the other one's effects depending on the Card you put them on.

Accumulated Point Rewards

Unlike most other Special Events, the Points you accumulated are split into two.
The first is an accumulated point total that keep tracks of all the Points you've gained total, while the other you can use to spend on fodder.
