Invincible Monkey Army!
Gorilla has long been a mainstay, being a pretty decent Green Hit card as well as an excellent sub for other Hit-type cards. For the most part, Gorilla just does 1x strong Hit attack, but from SL6+, it adds on up to 3 additional hits (with reduced accuracy). As such, Gorilla puts some respectable damage. With his recent Awakening however, Gorilla got a massive stat boost that even puts normal 30-cost cards to shame. But in the process, his Main Skill got changed to a 4x Hit attack; against high armor enemies, it could prove somewhat problematic, but with the right subs and Enhance cards, Gorilla can surely pump out some damage.
Sub-wise, Gorilla has long been an excellent sub (if not one of the best) for other Hit-type cards, granting a 35% Skill Boost on a Straight+. Awakening has only lessened the requirements of the Skill Boost, now only requiring a Three Card+ hand, allowing for a bit more leeway. As for his Awakening Skill, it grants an additional 15% Skill Boost for any Hit card in the hand other than your own, giving Gorilla a nice extra boost.
As far as stats go, Awakened Gorilla has excellent HP and ATK, as well as a handy 4 Orb Slots to use as you please. His DEF is a bit on the low side, but not terribly so. And compared from his original form, Awakened Gorilla's cost only went up 5 (from 25), making him quite impressive for a 30-cost card.
Can be Awoken from Crystals found in Roar of Awakening.

Effectively Best-in-Slot for any Hit card. Gorilla offers a whopping 35% Skill Boost to Hit-type Skills on a Straight+.
As such, he makes an excellent sub for any Hit card you have. Unsurprisingly, Gorilla tends to frequently pop up in Gachas with an abundance of Hit cards.
Gorilla offers the same boost as before, but now only requires you have a Three Card+ hand.
Fortunately, Awakening didn't increase Gorilla's cost too much, so you should be able to still use him as effectively as before.
Quite the useful Awakening Skill, Gorilla allows any Hit card in the played hand other than your own to get an extra 15% Skill Boost! This can be very useful against foes that are weak against Hit attacks, as it allows your allies to deal more damage with their Hit cards.
