Boss Data
Strategy
The bosses rotate daily according to the element of the day.
Brulee is weak to
and Poison
- Brulee will use his Preemptive Attack to break the Party's Shields and inflict Poison.
- He REALLY likes to inflict Poison. Status Reflect or Immunity is very useful here.
- Brulee may also inflict a Sustained Debuff effect that will decrease your ATK & AGI for 3 turns
- As such, any Sustained Effects on yourself likely won't work very well since it'll just get overwritten.
- If Brulee's Buffs get too high, he'll also use an attack that inflicts Strong Poison to those who are already Poisoned.
- Brulee will often Buff himself and apply a Status Immunity Shield on himself. Every turn, he'll apply a stronger Status Immunity Shield with more properties (Damage Reduction, then Unbreakable). Essentially, the Shields act as a Charge mechanic; if you manage to remove the Shield and Poison Brulee, this will reset his attack pattern. Otherwise, Brulee will eventually use a powerful attack that inflicts lots of damage.
- While Charging, Brulee will break Shields every turn, so proceed with caution. (Dispelling the Charge will prevent this; Evasion Shields can evade the initial attack, but you won't be able to avoid the follow-up stuff.)
- Be wary of Debuffing him too much, as Brulee will reverse his Debuffs if his Stats get very low.
Nabu is weak to
and Poison
- Nabu will use his Preemptive Attack to break the Party's Shields and inflict Poison.
- Nabu can inflict Charm and Debuff the Party with some of his attacks.
- He may also inflict a Sustained Debuff effect that will decrease your ATK & AGI for 3 turns
- If the Party's Buffs get too high, Nabu may absorb ALL of the Party's Buffs! Beware!
- He can often break Shields as well, so proceed with caution.
- Like Brulee, Nabu will often Buff himself and apply a Status Immunity Shield on himself. Every turn, he'll apply a stronger Status Immunity Shield with more properties (Damage Reduction, then Unbreakable). Essentially, the Shields act as a Charge mechanic; if you manage to remove the Shield and Poison Nabu, this will reset his attack pattern. Otherwise, Nabu will eventually use a powerful attack that inflicts lots of damage and then remove the Shield.
- Be wary of Debuffing Nabu too much, as he'll transfer his Debuffs to a Party member if his Stats get very low.
- He'll also recover HP occasionally at the end of his turn, though it's usually not much.
Gerbert is weak to
and Taunt
- Gerbert will use his Preemptive Attack to attack the Party and break Shields.
- He likes to break Shields as well as inflicting Debuffs and Seal.
- He will also put on a Counter Shield (5 Ticks) and Buff himself as well.
- Gerbert will Charge up every turn. Inflict Taunt on him to dump his Charge. Failing to dump his Charge will cause him to Nuke you for heavy damage.
- Gerbert never buffs his DEF. Thus lowering his DEF can help in killing him quicker.
