As you can see, The Emperor's Main Skill is pretty impressive. In the past, most 3x Elemental-imbued attackers have usually had some sort of drawback or quirk to using them. Surprisingly, none of that is really present. In fact, the only real drawback to The Emperor's skill is that it's just pure damage, but it's quite strong nonetheless and only gets stronger the more Slash cards are present.
Even at default, The Emperor deals slightly more damage than your typical 3x attacker. With more Slash cards present, it can increase to a potential 1.40x multiplier, though getting a full hand of Slash cards is very rare. Combined with his high Attack, The Emperor is no doubt a very powerful Water Slash card.
Sub Skill
Much like Garnet and Kasumi, The Emperor grants a 35% Skill Boost to any Slash card on Straight+. However, if your Stat Total is +1 or more and the target's Stat Total is -1 or less, then the Skill Boost increases to 40%! As such, The Emperor is an excellent sub for any Slash card, although he does have a hefty 34 Cost to consider.
