Chelsea as a card is somewhat of a screwball. Her damage is fine, though her actual attack stat could use some improvement, but her primary purpose is her main skill, which is built for catching cards. While using her directly on feeder mats can be a bit harrowing (given that you might kill them, though the skill can trigger even if the target's HP is 0), she is a very valuable card when hunting for subs from 20-28 star dungeons. Given the power of the Charm status effect, she can even do significant damage in the Colosseum. However, as a standby, her actual attack is too low to compete with other one-hit wonders like '''[[Blackbeard]]''' or '''[[Susanoo]]''', and her status effect provides no direct combat benefit even if it is applied. She is also part of one of the best super fusions in the game, so if nothing else it definitely isn't a detracting point from her value. <br>
Chelsea can be a very good pick, or a very uninspiring one, depending on who you already have and what you need. Without a doubt, she is a card that can be used to good effect, but don't roll on her unconditionally; Make sure you want what you're going to get.

The main points here are the Charm (which is applied before the cardify attempt) and the Cardify attempt. This of course will never work on the bosses of Special Dungeons, but if you're in need of additional subs from 20 star and higher dungeon tiers, Chelsea is your girl. Also of note is that the Cardify can still potentially work even if the target has been defeated. The charm also makes her a great hassle in Colosseum, especially if you get off a multiply/aoe enhance.

Awakening gives Chelsea a much needed Stat Boost, but also turns her into a full-on Attacker now as she loses her ability to Cardify targets. She simply turns into a 2x Hit attacker that can still inflict Charm and does more damage if her targets are already Charmed. She's also got 5 Orb Slots to utilize, so you can give her a sizable damage increase with a 5-slot ATK Orb if you wish.
However, an unlisted bonus is her Cardify Rate; technically it's 4x, but can be increased via Enhance Cards. Her Charm effect can also last for at least 2 Turns. As such, Chelsea can be one of the strongest Cards for attempting to capture Cards...however, you want to avoid this against CBG-level foes as she'l likely kill them. Instead, she's more suited for the higher level Seasonal Bosses. If you wish to use her in this way, make sure to keep her at Lv1.
(An unlisted trait of her sub skill conditional, like most similar ones, is that she does not affect Robot-type cards)
Her subskill is only a +damage boost, not a skill power boost (which has a more proficient effect), and most of the better attacking cards in the game are girls, except that thanks to matching icons (and the otherwise unconditional nature of the bonus), she makes a very strong sub card for '''[[Penguin|Noveau Rich Penguin]]'''- and he is one of the best cards in the game, full stop! Penguin aside, she can also be used to decent effect on '''[[Gorilla|General Gorilla]]''', who is also no slouch in the powerhouse department. She also fits well with '''[[Loki]]''' and '''[[Thor]]'''. That's not a bad set, though Penguin steals the show.
Unfortunately, aside from that, her sub skill doesn't have a great deal of application. While Damage Increase is weaker than Skill Power Up, and thus her sub ends up being significantly lower of an increase, it does apply its bonus to Super Fusions, so once again it only makes Penguin the happiest match. There are only a few other non-girl options to sub her on, and almost none of them will be a skill match, so it leaves her somewhat lacking.
Still, if you have leveled Chelsea up and either swap in new cards often (making it hard to always have good subs on hand) or just leveled her first to use her to catch other subs, she can make a passable stand-in on anything the conditional fits. This might make her a desirable draw for a new player, as they can level her first to get a strong Hit-user and a way to catch better subs, then use her as a sub after while leveling up more suitable subs.
Chelsea gets a noticeable improvement in her Sub Skill. She now offers a 30% Skill Boost to any non-Girl Attacker. <br>
But should you or your target be Charmed, then it becomes 30-40% instead, potentially gaining you an extra boost. <br>
As such, Chelsea makes a pretty good sub for any Attack card...just as long as they're not a Girl.
A bit of an interesting Awakening Skill, Chelsea grants a 5% Skill Boost to all non-Girl cards in the played hand. In that way, she's basically the opposite of Awakened [[Aphrodite]] who only affects Girl cards. While only a minor boost, it's certainly useful as it's a boost for the rest of your Party.
