Aladdin is essentially a Genie Killer card and one of the earlier cards to utilize Non-Elemental attacks. Aladdin's niche lies in being a hard counter to the Genie enemies as his Skill exclusively deals 2x damage to them. Once he hits SL6, Aladdin gains 3x Non-Elemental Stab attacks with a small chance to increase his Skill Power.
Awakening doesn't change Aladdin much other than giving him a sizable Stat Boost as well as giving a greater chance to boost his Skill Power and executing a Strong Elemental attack against Genie enemies. Of course, due to Aladdin's Non-Elemental Stab attacks, this makes him decently effective against any Stab weak foe.
Basically a 25% Skill Boost to any card if your target is a Genie.
However, given how few Genie cards there are, it's very situational.
Awakening changes this a bit by making Aladdin a 30% Skill Boost to Attack Cards.
But if the target is a Genie, the Skill Boost jumps to 40% instead.
Essentially, this makes Aladdin a pretty good Attack sub, even more so if facing Genies.
