Strategy

Accelerator

  • Accelerator's Preemptive Attack will break Shields and Debuff.
  • Accelerator is a pretty annoying Boss; he doesn't hit hard, but he likes to do some pretty annoying stuff.
  • Almost every turn, he'll apply an Iron Wall + Strong Counter Shield.
    • If you manage to Paralyze Accelerator, he won't do the above and instead just apply a Status Reflect Shield.
    • Shield Breakers are a must-have in this fight, as it can be difficult to deal damage otherwise.
  • He also likes to inflict random Status Effects to the Party as well. Make sure you can clear Status Effects!
    • Status Reflect and Immunity Shields can also help prevent this among other things.
  • Accelerator will counterattack if Damage UP effects are applied; best to avoid using cards with said effects.
  • Try not to Debuff Accelerator much as he can Reverse his Debuffs.

God/Dragon King/TDK Difficulty

  • Accelerator becomes considerably more annoying to deal with on God and Dragon King difficulties; he doesn't hit super hard, but he likes to do some pretty nasty stuff.
  • Accelerator's Preemptive Attack will break Shields. However, he'll also Reverse the Party's Buffs!
    • As such, try to avoid Buffing prior to the Boss Fight.
  • In addition to applying an Iron Wall + Strong Counter Shield nearly every turn, he can also Reverse the Party's Buffs!
    • If you manage to Paralyze Accelerator, he won't do the above and instead just apply a Status Reflect Shield. Use this to your advantage to hit Accelerator hard!
      • If you do this twice in a row, Accelerator will attack the Party anyways.
    • Status Reflect and Immunity Shields can also help prevent the Buff Reversal (it's actually a Debuff effect) among other things.
    • Status Immunity is far more reliable from preventing all of Accelerator's Debuffs/Buff Reversal. Status Reflect is a bit more iffy since if your Shield lacks enough ticks, it'll fail.
  • After he drops below 50% HP (or 4-5 Turns have passed), the following occurs:
    • Accelerator will fully Heal and Buff himself. He'll also apply a Sustained Buff effect as well as an Iron Wall + Strong Counter Shield (Overwrite Disabled).
    • He'll also attack the Party the following turn for 99% HP damage, inflict Damage UP, fully Debuff the Party (-10 All Stats), and apply a Sustained Debuff effect.
    • On the next turn, if Accelerator's Shield hasn't been broken (you have 2 Turns to this from after he Recovers), he'll INSTANTLY KILL the Party.
    • If you manage to break Accelerator's Shield though, he will attack himself for 20% HP damage, wipe his Buffs, and then Transform.
  • After he Transforms, Accelerator will still use most of the same attacks. However he's now got a more powerful Release attack at his disposal!
  • As such, you'll need to counter Transformed Accelerator's as appropriate (or kill him quickly).
    • 『オラ、立てよ、最弱』: Accelerator will Charge up for a Release attack on the next turn that deals very high damage and breaks Shields. Simply Paralyze him to stop the attack.
    • 『愉快な事思いついた』: This Charge up is MUCH more dangerous, as the Release attack on the next turn will INSTANTLY KILL the Party. In order to prevent this one from going off, you'll need to attack him 10 times that Turn and try and Paralyze him if possible.
  • Damage UP Cards are NOT recommended at ALL. If you inflict Damage UP 2 Turns in a row, Accelerator will INSTANTLY KILL the Party!!!
    • Given that Accelerator can apply Overwrite Disabled Shields, they're not too useful anyways.

Super Dragon Emperor

  • Compared to the previous fights, this one is significantly different (and much much harder!).
  • Accelerator appears in his Transformed state. This means he won't Resurrect or Heal himself this time.
  • His Preemptive attack will deal 99% HP Gravity damage and then Reverse your Buffs. (The Gravity attack can be Evaded w/Evasion Shields.)
  • As before, Accelerator has a few Release attacks, and this time, it's crucial to counter them appropriately.
In order to prevent this one from going off, you'll need to break Accelerator's Shield and reset his Stats to 0!
      • Because of the specific effects for this Release attack, DO NOT bring Debuff Cards or any Cards/Subs that can inflict Debuffs!
      • Several Cards can help fulfill this condition: Toma Kamijo, Ran (Awk), Oriana Thomason, Clare (Wrestler), Sanae, etc.
  • Accelerator also has various Counters to certain actions:
    • Damage UP: As before, Accelerator will punish the Party for using Damage UP. If you inflict it 2 Turns in a row, Accelerator will INSTANTLY KILL the Party.
    • Paralysis: Paralysis is important to have around to stop one of Accelerator's Release attacks. However, if you inflict it 2 Turns in a row, he'll INSTANTLY KILL the Party. Make sure to Paralyze Accelerator when necessary.
  • Unlike some other SDE fights, there's no hard Turn Limit on defeating Accelerator, so take your time. He's got a LOT of HP to burn through.

Recommended Cards

  • Red Hit
  • Shield Breakers
  • Paralysis Cards

Special Sub Cards

When you clear the Dungeon, one of three Sub Cards may drop from the Dungeon Chest.
You'll need 8 copies each to evolve one fully to from SS to SSS.
For the 2nd Run, these Subs can further evolve to GOD! They require another 3 copies to evolve from from SSS.

Gekota's Coin Case and Accelerator's Walking Stick are obtained from Accumulated Point Rewards.

Card Sub Skill Description
Fire.pngGOD.png Rune Cards When Main Card is Red and has Attack Skill, grants (15-20/20-25/30-35/30-40%) Skill Boost

Wood.pngSSS.png Accelerator's Crutch When Main Card is Green, grants 20-25% Skill Boost on Straight+; On Full House+, also clears Status Effects
  • The Rune Cards are a great Sub for any Red Attacker.
  • The Seven Heavens Seven Sword is a particularly great Sub for Slash Cards, as it offers a great Skill Boost and powerful extra Slash attack. The GOD version even has a DEF Debuff attached which can be useful.
  • The Electric Goggles are a great Sub for Hit Cards, but they only really shine in extended fights due to the Secondary effect.
  • Gekota's Coin Purse and Accelerator's Clutch are decent Subs, but the Hand Conditions on them really kill their viability in higher-level content. Decent if you lacking other Subs though.
